Spring Wish List

Easter offers the perfect opportunity for a spring refresh. I love serving up a big buffet on a gorgeous table with seasonal flowers and colorful linens to celebrate. My menu stays pretty consistent year to year but I enjoy mixing things up with the decor. Here are a few items I’ve been eyeing lately:

We have a surplus of eggs and I mean, how cute are these?

Channeling my inner swan.

Speaking of swans — these would be so pretty on a dining table Easter or otherwise.

This bowl is the perfect size for a buffet—ready for my beet and blood orange salad. Maybe I’d get two and fill the other with a potato salad.

Nothing says easter table like gingham.

I actually bought these napkins. They are beautiful linen and are large in scale which I love for setting the table and full Easter dress lap coverage. They tie in the tablecloth and platter so nicely.

Speaking of yellow… This cookbook should be in your Easter basket along with some specialty SB chocolate.I also recently purchased these recycled water glasses for our home… I love colored glass for a pop of color on a table.

Note: I do NOT love colored wine glasses. They obscure the color of the wine and mess with your senses, stick with using the fun glasses for water, and go with something like this for wine. These crystal wine glasses are super versatile and can be used for any table and for most wines; white or red burgundy, even Champagne.

These sweet embroidered cocktail napkins— might be a nice hostess gift for the darling entertaining gardener in your life.

These straw trivets would make a great landing spot for all the warm dishes on the buffet like this must-try sausage egg bake.

These colorful candlesticks are so Santa Barbara—but also super affordable.

An ice bucket with a lid is a must—the lid is important so the ice does not melt and keeps it clean from garden friends. I’ve seen a few versions of this style but this one is on sale and a good size. You could fill it up with goodies and use it as a multipurpose Easter basket, or opt for a cute spring bag. (Clearly, I’m on a bit of a wicker kick)!
