Traveling this summer on flights with my kids was refreshingly easier than it used to be (uh oh, I hope I didn’t just jinx myself on that one). Mid-air, I actually got a chance to read books and watch movies. Imagine that. Enter, Jiro Dreams of Sushi. It’s been on my list to watch for a while now, and I was able to watch it uninterrupted. Ok, now I’ve totally jinxed it.
Jiro’s story is fascinating and inspirational; it gives you a chance to peek into a passionate life completely dedicated to sushi, his restaurant and his craft. It’s incredibly motivating to watch him do what he loves. It received great reviews from critics, with good reason.
Note: Make sure you’ve got a good sushi restaurant to go to after the movie is over, because you’ll be craving it! Damn that in-flight food.
