Tuesday Tool: Corkscrew

Everyone has that disorganized drawer full of random corkscrews that has become a graveyard for rejected wine openers, right (Ok, maybe it’s just me)? At any rate, opening wine can be tricky sometimes, but the best and easiest corkscrew of the bunch is this pull-tap double hinged waiter corkscrew.

Bypass the big expense and storage space of those “rabbit” things (you know the ones). These guys are the real deal, and at nine bucks a pop, they work so much better than any other corkscrew I have tried. I mean, this is the type of opener that sommeliers use, so it makes sense that you should at least give it a try. After all, you are the sommelier of your own house.
